Saturday the 14th of July was hot in Whistler, but the magic was COOL! That’s what everyone thought at the 2010 Olympics Information centre in Whistler, BC.

Comedy Magician Matthew Johnson was invited by the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic Games to get their festivities started.

Many turned out to bask in the sun and be entertained and entertained they were as the North Vancouver based Magician went through his award winning show!

This weekend was a great time to be in Whistler as I was invited to perform my Comedy Magic show for 2 days at the annual Whistler Children’s Festival. It was hot but the heat did not stop many of my past clients from making the 2 hour trip from Vancouver to Whistler, the future home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Between drinking tons of water and trying to stay in the shade I performed interactive Magic, Juggling, Comedy & Balloon Twisting. The groups I entertained were fantastic and considering the heat did well to sit through each of my 30 minute shows.

I also got to see my good friend Zany Zack perform his kids musical set…..he was fantastic!

I would like to extend my big thanks to Traci, Kassia and everyone else on staff at the Whistler Arts Council for putting on such a wonderful event, Cheers Guys!

Matthew has been booked to perform his unique Family Magic Show at this years Children’s Arts Festival in Whistler.
The family event takes place on Saturday the 14th of July & Sunday the 15th of July 2007 at Creekside, Whistler. Matthew will be one of many international performers ranging from Magicians & Jugglers to Musicians.

You can catch Matthew at the Subway Patio Stage on Saturday from 1:45pm to 2:15pm & on Sunday from 11:00am to 11:30am & 12:00pm to 12:30pm.
