Just the one show today for a private residence in WestHill, West Vancouver.

It’s been a while since I was in this neighbourhood and to be honest I forgot it was there, tucked away at the top of 21st Street in West Vancouver.

It was a great event for a children’s birthday party and fun was had by all!

One other thing I had forgotten was just how beautiful the views are from the British Properties and West Hill. Stunning views truly make Vancouver and BC the greatest place to live and work in the world!

I had a 1st birthday party on the 13th of January and guess what? I had another 1st birthday party in need of great entertainment the day after on the 14th of January.

This time I was performing in the banquet room at the Howard Johnson Hotel on Kingsway Avenue in Vancouver, BC.

The group was much smaller than the night before with only about 80 people in attendance. It was another great night though and this time I got to perform my 45 minute stand up comedy magic show.

The audience was a mixed bunch of children and adults and I got fed AGAIN before I left. I have to get back to the gym soon after eating all this great food

After a few days off I was back to business on the 13th of February (unlucky for some).

I had a great time performing at the Royal King Palace for 400 guests at a very lavish private party for a 1st birthday. It never ceases to amaze me how lavish some of these 1st birthday celebrations can be and this event was pretty amazing!

I perfomed 3 hours of wandering close up magic and was fed the most amazing Indian food before I left. Needless to say, I arrived home with a nice, full belly!

The 7th of january was go go go!!! No rest for the wicked

My first show was for a children’s birthday party in West Vancouver. The children were only 4 years old and full of energy! I always say that I don’t need to do Children’s Birthday Parties any more but I keep doing them because I simply love performing my show for kids, they are so much fun and full of energy.

I started performing for kids parties as a clown in the UK over 20 years ago and am happy to still be entertaing at children’s birthday parties today!

After the first show it was time to pack up the show and reset the show before my long drive to White Rock, talk about going from one end of the Lower Mainland to the other!

My second magic show in White Rock was for a 3 year old boy and his friends. I think I am one of the only performers in British Columbia that can perform for 3 year olds, 8 year olds, teenagers and adults and everything in between and make each magic show completely different and suitable for the age group. But, that’s why I am the best at what I do Did I mention I am also a little bias lol

My first show of the New Year was on the 6th of January which means I had a nice long day rest of 5 days before hopping back in the saddle. It’s been so long since I had 5 days off in a row that I felt well rested.

My first show of 2012 was at a private residence in Eagle Harbour. I was booked to perform 2 hours of strolling magic for a group of about 80 adults. Needless to say I was having such a great time that I did not realize what time it was and ended up staying about 45 minutes longer. That’s why I do what I do though, because I love it!

Thank you to everyone at the event (you know who you are ;)). It was  a geat night and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Well, I am at the last show before my Christmas vacation.

Todays show was a private house party in Vancouver, BC and it was fun fun fun!

Now that it’s done it’s time for me to relax until my next 3 shows which are not until New Years Eve!

On the 17th of December I was invited to perform for a Vancouver company by the name of Misty Mountain Specialties.

Misty Mountain Specialties is a well-established company in Canada that deals in wild and domestic mushrooms and other specialty forest products.

I was booked to perform my 45 minute stand up comedy magic show for a group of 50 guests. A small group but good fun!

The event took place at the Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond, BC.

The 16th of December was a fairly busy day with 3 shows booked in the same day!

For the first show I was invited to Panorama Elementary School by Bill Cousineau and his great group of staff and teachers. I set up the show and was ready to go as 400 kids aged kindergarten to grade 7 streamed in to the gymnasium.

I love BIG shows like this, they are SO much fun!!! The energy off a group of kids like this is absolutely AMAZING!!! It’s one of those shows where you catch yourself in the moment and think….WOW!!! I am having so much fun

The show at Panorama finished at 2:00pm and then I had a few hours to head home and change for my next event.

The next performance was 1 hour of close up magic at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club which is situated down at Jericho Beach in Kitsilano, Vancouver. This second show was from 7pm to 8pm and was fo a great company by the name of West Point Sales Inc. Doug Puddifant invited me back for my 3rd year in a row to perform for his staff and clients. I always have a great time with Doug and the hour goes by way too fast!

The last show was for the staff at Law firm Murray/Jamieson.

Alison Murray and the staff at Murray Jamieson Barristers and Solicitors have been enjoying my strolling magic at their Halloween event and Christmas event every year for the past 5 or 6 years! I love it when clients keep inviting me back time and time again. It’s a great boost as you always know you are doing the right thing and that you are good at your job when they keep inviting you back.

The last show finished at about 11:00pm. By the time I got home it was very late but the day had been great and all shows went really well!

15th of December and already the biggest part of the way through the month Not long until Christmas now!!! Exciting stuff

I was at L’ecole Bilingual School today performing my Christmas Magic Show. Elaine Kennedy and all of her staff are wonderful and have been booking me to perform at this school for various events throughout the year for many many years now. Elaine even booked me to perform a magic show at her wedding reception last year which was a real honor!

The kids are always a lot of  fun at this school and full of energy! I love it when the children are acting like they just ate a pound of sugar, it always makes for an interesting, high energy show!
